Our Founders:
Tana Fellenz was a flight attendant who was working with rescues fostering dogs. She decided to retire from the airline business and open a shelter to help save more animals.
Tim Moseley, Tana’s husband, went along for the ride.
They had a 'she shed' and dog runs built on their property where the dogs are cared for. This is in addition to caring for all their other animals on their property: horses, alpacas, a pig, ducks, chickens and rabbits. Needless to say they are a very busy team. Their tireless efforts are rewarded every time as each dog is adopted out.
Moseleys' Mutt Oasis has 1200 square foot facility with large dog runs, a "she shed" for lounging and adapting to a home living environment. There are 1.5 acres of play area they use daily. The dogs are usually in small packs to play and socialize with a variety of dogs. There is plenty of land for the dogs to run and play
